A story of forgive and forget
Colombia 2015
In the midst of the peace process with the FARC guerrillas, the Colombian government decreed a bill that consisted of granting 100,000 free homes to a large population of families displaced by violence, this benefit was a gesture of social and economic reparation for part of the Colombian state, for the victims of the conflict, this national-scale project meant a great social effort for many families seeking to start a new life, the one that the violence and continuous displacement of almost 60 years of conflict had destroyed, leaving large generational scars and a social abyss that they must now face by integrating a new community, as a therapy to seek forgiveness and oblivion.
